Things that made me happy this long weekend: (i) spending a $40-voucher on Burt's Bees goodies, (ii) inspiring books printed on soft, textured paper, (iii) dark DARK chocolate, (iv) witnessing stunning visuals and a deep soul in A Single Man, and (v) discovering a charming collection of jewellery from local lable By Invite Only -which is on 40% off at Asylum's closing sale.

Nail that Art

The industry giant has developed a Nail Art Pen that allows you to draw on the details and just seal the look with a topcoat. I'm personally digging the blue nails with diagonal stripes, or maybe a McQueen manicure with some bright pink on the underside?

Eat Less, Shop More?

As it is, I have pals who would readily testify that I'd forgo all meals in the name of shopping - and that's time-wise, not just budgetary. Now, there's a lip gloss that doubles as an appetite depressant!

Purple Lab have come up with Lip-Shtick: Huge Lips, Skinny Hips contains Hoodia, a natural appetite suppressant as well as some Vitamin B3 thrown in for good measure.

Wonderful! I might just distribute this at the beginning of the next Great Girly Shopping Trip to Hong Kong or Bangkok :) {butterfly diary}
