Joe Zee to the Rescue!

One of my favourite things about Stylista - the reality show modelled after The Devil wears Prada - is Elle's Creative Director, Joe Zee, who comes across really genuine and always has great advice for the contestants! He's more or less the show's Tim Gunn.

On a recent entry on Elle's blog, he gives tips on how to "make better" your closet on the cheap by adding simple accessories or even hacking off sleeves from coats (see below).

I love how Elle staffers were used for this feature - all of whom are apparently not as impossibly chic as you might imagine (except, possibly, the intern of all people!). Gives us all hope doesn't it?

By the way, if you haven't caught Stylista yet... please do... if only for some fab ruffled outfits and the gasp-inducing episode when the contestants get to raid the Elle wardrobe for party outfits!!
