I'm a little ashamed to say that this piece of fashion news only came to my attention after some *serious* New Year's partying...
The Parisian who pioneered the unisex look in the 1960s passed from complications arising from leukaemia. He was 79. His label is currently run by his son, Olivier Lapidus.
I'm not really into the whole rush to buy a piece of history when a famous designer passes, but these vintage sunglasses available on Etsy (above) and Ebay (below) are extremely cute in their own right.
